The mediola® Matter Bridge for Homematic IP offers the world’s exclusive option of integrating Homematic IP into the new universal smart home standard Matter. Now you are able to use the popular components of the European market leader for whole home systems into the leading international smart home platforms from Apple, Google, Amazon, Samsung, etc.
The free Connect app is used to commission the Matter Bridge and to teach-in your Homematic IP products.
Additionally, you can use the app to control the connected devices.
Once you have connected your devices with our Matter Bridge you are able to import them into all Matter-enabled smart home ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung Smarthings and more. Your Homematic IP devices will be imported into these applications according to the Matter specifications and can be combined with all other devices to control them via app, voice or automations.
New Homematic IP devices connected to the bridge will be synced automatically with the smart home platforms. You are free to use both, the platform apps and our Connect app in parallel.
The following selection of Homematic IP devices are supported by the Connect App and Matter Bridge and can be imported into the Matter platforms. Please note that the available features of each device in the Matter Platforms are tied to the Matter specifications and depend on the implementation of the respective ecosystem. The available feature set may not cover all manufacturer-side features.
